The Swedish entrepreneur Ingvar Feodor Kamprad, the founder of the home furnishing retail chain IKEA, is one amongst the richest in the world. In 2008 he is the 4th richest person in the world.

As a young boy he began making money by selling matches to neighbors on his bicycle. He graduated to selling fish and Christmas Trees. When Kamprad was 17, his father gave him a reward for succeeding in his studies. He used this money to establish what has grown into IKEA which became the biggest furniture retailer. IKEA is one of the most beloved retailers in the world with its furniture being sold in over 33 countries.

 At the age of 79 his wealth is estimated to be a whopping 28 billion. This tycoon is known to fly economy class even now.
