Paul AllenHe is the cofounder of Microsoft cofounder. He stated along with Bill Gates in developing Microsoft and the rest is history. Paul Gardner Allen was born in Seattle, Washington. He attended a local school in Seattle. It is in this place where he be-friended Bill Gates and they both shared their enthusiasm for computers. He later joined the Harvard University but dropped out to join hands with Bill Gates to form Microsoft. When Microsoft won the contract to provide a new operating system for the new PCs of IBM the floodgates to wealth were opened for Paul Allen.He gained most of his fortune while being on the Board of Microsoft. He steadily diversified his investments in stocks, finances, oil and a number of Information Technology companies in the US. He has also invested in commercial spacecraft and was the first private individual to put a civilian in space.Paul Allen is known for his huge real estate assets. He has backed a number of sports teams. He is the proud owner of Octopus, one of the longest luxury yachts in the world.  The yacht has its own basketball court and a music studio. Paul Allen is well known to throw celebrity parties on his yacht.
